Sundays
9:00 AM Worship Service
10:00 AM Coffee Fellowship
On a typical Sunday at ELCC, you would see/hear/experience...
8:20 AM - The church begins to stir as the organist/choir accompanist warm up. The music spills into the halls.
8:25 - In the kitchen, the smell of fresh coffee starts to waft through the building, an early sign of fellowship to come.
8:30 - The multigenerational Chancel Choir gathers for rehearsal, filling the space with harmony and purpose.
9:00 - The church truly comes alive. The cherub choir (PreK-4th grade) begins their spirited practice, their voices bright with energy. In the fellowship hall, coffee is poured, cookies are shared, and conversations begin to hum as members and friends greet each other.
9:15 - Sunday School begins, filling classrooms with curiosity, joy, and the sound of learning about God’s love.
9:45 - Sunday School wraps up, and any remaining cookies disappear quickly, claimed by both kids and grownups alike.
9:50 - The sanctuary begins to fill. A buzz of conversation floats through the air, sometimes interrupted by a bat who’s decided to add some excitement by swooping in from its roost.
10:00 - Worship begins as a member of the congregation offers announcements. There’s a sense of community as familiar voices welcome all.
10:15 - The congregation begins to sing, and like a wave, over 40 children surge forward for the children’s sermon, a joyful stampede that fills the front of the sanctuary with energy. As they return to their pews, the Chancel Choir often follows, swimming upstream, to take their place and share their gifts.
On any given Sunday, the sanctuary is alive with music, from the Cherub Choir, the Chancel Choir, or other special musicians.

The heart of worship at ELCC is shaped by liturgy, the Word, the sermon, the sharing of the peace, and communion.

As the service concludes, the congregation voices its commitment together, reciting our mission statement in unity.

After worship, organic multigenerational conversations are the norm. The Narthex fills, not just with coffee and cookies, but with laughter, connection, and the joy of shared life. Conversations linger, new faces are welcomed, and lasting bonds are nurtured. As an interim pastor once said: “It’s family.”
